The rooms are beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. It is in a peaceful and convenient location to a historic wooden castle, just a short walk from the hotel. the property is also located near a subway station.

Pretty standard hotel, attentive and superfriendly stuff, magnificent location perfect in a quiet street in the city centre. Great service and good-sized room with complementary breakfast which was delicious. Location close enough to subway stations & main shopping strips and bus stops and metro. Very lovely stay, as always.

Tasty breakfast with a refreshing natural smoothie 🥤. the staff here are really friendly and welcoming. Plus, this place is super close to all the attractions and sightseeing spots, so you won't have to go far to explore.

My husband and I really enjoyed being there, it's a lovely little hotel. the location was marvelous and comfy, close to the train station and main shopping road, and restaurants and bars. Spent a nice evening at Hisuien, located near the venue.

We had a lovely time here and would have stayed for longer. the hotel was stylish, the location was perfect to get around Kyoto from the nearby subway stop, and complimentary breakfast was a nice perk. the room was brand-new with a fresh interior. In general, the service was great. the facilities were modern and easy to use.

Large room, comfortable bed, spacious shower/toilet, separate wash basin. Eclectic Western breakfast with croissant, toast, or toasted sandwich, and egg of the day, salad. Super comfortable bed, quiet premises, friendly staff. Convenient location, short walk to subway and central shops. Bike rental nearby. Kind owner and staff, great directions, good breakfast choices. Clean and ideal location, walking distance to attractions. Comfortable and airy rooms, modern feel. Peaceful hotel after a busy day in Kyoto. Lovely Japanese & Western breakfasts included. Would stay here again!

The privacy at Minato was excellent. We arrived late in the evening, but the hotel staff waited for us and checked us in promptly. Throughout our stay, we hardly saw anyone else, which we really loved. The hotel's location was also convenient, within walking distance to local restaurants and popular attractions like Gion and Kyoto Station. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and convenient stay in Kyoto.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I felt welcomed by the staff. The cleanliness of the hotel facilities was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located close to everything I wanted to see in this city, whether I needed to access the metro or historical monuments. Transportation was easily accessible, and getting around was easy. The staff was always willing to provide recommendations for nearby cafes, and I found myself venturing out to another cafe for breakfast, much to my delight. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed.

Located conveniently near major bus routes for sightseeing and just a short walk to central shops and cafes. the room is clean and well-equipped with all the basic amenities, such as towels and toiletries. the staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions. Breakfast was sumptuous and filling, with both English and Japanese options.
It may not be suitable for those looking for a big hotel with plenty of staff.
